How paying for a website works: 50% and 50%
Payment worries people more than the website itself: when to pay, how much and what happens if something goes wrong. That is why I state all the terms before work starts. Here is how it looks.

Two parts of 50%
Usually half is paid at the start and the other half when the site is ready to launch. The launch happens after full payment.
You see the finished site first and only then pay the rest.
What the prepayment gives you
The prepayment reserves your project in the queue, and I start work within 24 hours. For me it confirms the project is going ahead, for you it guarantees your place.
Big projects: three payments
For big projects, for example a platform, payment can be split into 3 parts: at the start, midway and before launch. Such schemes are discussed individually.
If you change your mind
The refund terms are set in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of paying, I return the prepayment minus 20%. Later, the prepayment covers the work already done.
These terms are not a surprise at the end, they are known before you pay.
What is fixed in the contract
The contract sets out the scope of work and the deadline, a price that does not change without your consent, the payment order and dates, and the refund terms. All of it is agreed before the first payment.
How it works with me
I state the payment terms before work starts. Tell me about your task, and I will give you a price and suggest a convenient payment scheme.
