How to choose a website developer: 7 questions before ordering
Before ordering, ask the developer a few direct questions. The answers quickly show who you are dealing with.
Questions about the process
Who exactly will build my site: the person themselves or a team and a manager? Is the mock-up approved before development starts?
Is there a contract that fixes the scope, price and timelines?
Questions about money
What is included in the price and what is paid separately? How does payment work, and can the price change without your consent?
Questions about ownership and support
Who owns the domain and the site after launch? What is the warranty for fixing errors and how long does it last?
With me, the domain is registered to the client after full payment, and the warranty after launch is 30 days.
